Tacoi considers herself a word nerd and believes that she’s always been marked to work with writers. Highlighted as gifted and talented in reading and writing during her primary school years, Tacoi has always believed in the freeing power words carry.

Events in Tacoi’s own life led her to creative writing in 2001. Tacoi attended many programs for young writers throughout her tween and teen years — most notably the Thurber House writing program named in honor of James Thurber. As a young adult, she stayed local and attended THE Ohio State University where she studied English. Tacoi has also obtained a Master of Education (M.Ed) degree in Curriculum and Instruction: Reading and Literacy from Ashland University.  

Tacoi birthed her “pandemic baby,” The Anointed Editorial, in 2021 to show authors the power of their own voice so that they may grow their influence, brand, and walk in the freedom of a transformed life. She believes in the life-giving power of words and the impact they leave in the lives of others. Tacoi trumpets a community mindset and collaborating with authors to produce quality books they can confidently publish.

Through The Anointed Editorial, Tacoi has helped authors organize their ideas, provided advice through the editing process, and edited nonfiction trade titles. Tacoi has spent time as a blog manager, content writer, and marketing strategist.
